Why This Page Even Exists
We like things clean — both in architecture and on the website. That’s why we use almost no cookies and absolutely zero from advertising networks. This policy is short because there’s honestly very little to explain.
What Actually Lands on Your Device
When you visit the site we set one tiny first-party session cookie that remembers if you prefer light or dark mode and whether you’ve already closed the newsletter banner. It weighs a few bytes, lives only until you close the browser, and never leaves your computer.
We also use a single localStorage item to save your font-size preference if you ever adjust it. Again, it never travels anywhere.
Analytics (But the Gentle Kind)
Traffic is measured with a self-hosted, open-source tool that runs on our own European server. It records only anonymous visits: country-level location, browser, device type, and which pages were viewed. No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no profiles. The data is deleted automatically after 90 days.
Images, Fonts, Everything Else
All photos, fonts, and scripts are served directly from our domain. Nothing is loaded from external advertising platforms, social-media pixels, or marketing clouds. If you see a beautiful building photo, it comes straight from us to you.
Newsletter subscribers receive a tiny tracking pixel only to know if the email was opened — this helps us understand if the sending time works for most people. You can disable it anytime by clicking “update preferences” in any email.
Your Control
Your browser already gives you full power. Block all cookies and the site still works perfectly (you’ll just see the banner again and start in light mode).
If you want to erase everything we ever stored, just clear your browser cache or click “Clear site data” in the padlock menu next to the address bar.
Future Changes
Should we ever add something new — for example a members area or small shop — we will update this policy first and ask for your fresh consent before anything extra touches your device.
